Please join Lucy McKain to try your hand at milking a goat, - it’s not as easy! Make a willow crown or
ribbon wand (for yourself or a baby goat) for a goat photo op displaying “goature fashion”! Farm tours
are 11 am, 1 and 2 pm to meet our high-spirited, hard working dairy goat queens and learn about our
milk’s nutritious benefits. Our self-serve Farm Store will be open for organic food and milk.
Upswing Farm

Please join Brittany and Kevin Overshiner for hourly greenhouse tours and/or a dahlia field tour at 11am
and 2 pm. We will offer a “touch a truck” with farm tractors, trucks and equipment, free crafts and
activities for kids and adults, and free popcorn. Our local farm to table restaurant, The Lazy Bubble, will
offer free samples and prepared food for purchase made from Upswing Farm’s organic produce.
Kimstead Farm

Please join Theresa LeBlanc and Ron Hauff for a sugarhouse tour where we make maple syrup every
sugaring season. Visit our goats, donkeys, chickens and our Zebu mini-cow, Bessie. Various tractors and
implements will be on display. Our farm products are available for purchase and, weather permitting, free
group hayrides around the farm.

Please join Amanda and David Wadleigh for a self-guided Cornucopia scavenger hunt for kids. Follow
clues and put together cornucopias to color later. Purchase a pumpkin and paint it for the Halloween
season! Enjoy apple picking, samples, and our homemade cider donuts at our on-farm retail store!
The Maker Farm

Please join Emily and Eric Piper at The Maker Farm, a 1735 colonial homestead. We are an equine and
barnyard animal sanctuary hosting year round creative programming for all ages. Tour our Farm, create
an Autumn pumpkin fairy house to take home. The purchase of our popular hand crafted plaque, Hearts
for Dancer, named for our beloved Amish cart horse, helps support our horse rescue program.

Please join Laura Dennis demonstrating therapy on horseback (“hippotherapy”) for children with
neurological conditions build strength, balance and coordination using the horse's natural movement to
engage muscles and senses. Meet the team and horses, explore the therapy space to see what makes
hippotherapy so special with a mock session at 12:30 pm. Dress up the horses at 1pm and vote for "Best
Dressed" in a Pony Parade! Pony rides throughout the day (weather permitting).

Please join Dave Sears for a tour of his scenic farm and introductions to his Jersey and Normande cows,
his milking operation, and conversation about the benefits of raw milk. Learn about his prized Berkshire
and Ossabaw Island hogs brought to our Shores by English and Spanish settlers still prized for their
delicious meat. Products available for purchase at his on-farm retail store.

Please meet Ami O’Grady owner of The Bloomery. The Bloomery is a small-scale specialty cut flower
grower providing a diverse mix of seasonal blooms, including zinnias, sunflowers, snapdragons, dahlias,
roses, lisianthus, celosia and more. The Bloomery focuses on unique flower varieties, with sustainable
and organic growing practices, producing an ever-changing selection of field-grown flowers throughout
the New England growing season.
Please meet Andrew and Elizabeth Houde, owners of Three Fables Flower Farm, a small family-run
flower farm specializing in premium, seasonal cut flowers grown locally with care and intention. Three
Fables Flower Farm produce distinctive blooms for florists, floral designers, weddings, events and
customers looking for fresh, locally grown flowers. We offer curated dahlia tubers through our online
shop, with an emphasis on quality planting stock, accurate labeling and varieties we are proud to grow
ourselves.
